Why did you become a DJ?

I’ve been DJing since this first time I learned how to record songs from the radio onto cassette tape. Once learning how to produce music, the next step was to learn how to perform live. Before I was of legal drinking age, a group of friends of mine and I started putting our own shows at community halls, youth centers, and hidden outdoor locations. From the first time I took the stage, I knew this was the only thing I wanted to do.

What / Who are your musical influences?

Skrillex 100%, here is a guy who put it all on the line and succeeded. From being $20,000 to becoming the world’s biggest name, he made the necessary risks and it paid off. From a musical standpoint, Skrillex is someone that is always one step ahead. Just when you think everyone has caught up to where he’s at, he comes out with something that just pushes the boundaries to a new level. That is something that truly inspires me.

If you had to put one thing on your artist rider, what would it be?

In 2014, there was an issue with one of the traveling DJ’s travel into Canada at Center of Gravity. I was on the bill as an opening DJ and happened to be in the right place at the right time when it was announced that they would not be making their performance and I had the opportunity to fill in for them in and perform in front of 8000 or something people. Truly unforgettable.

What is the largest crowd you’ve played in front of?

Besides DJ’ing, what other hobbies do you have?

To be honest, I don’t have much for other hobbies. My life consists of waking up, going to the studio and working on music. I’m a graphic designer by profession, so I guess you could call that a hobby, but not anywhere near as close to the passion I have for music.
